If you have been hurt in an accident then you are likely unsure of where to turn.  Here is the first rule in making an insurance claim: insurance companies don’t want to give you their money.  Sure, they have cute commercials - with cave men, geccos, cartoons and singing adjusters.  Don’t be fooled. When you make a claim for ‘their’ money, you are no longer a valued customer, you are a problem to be dealt with.  They would rather build new glass office palaces in Boston and fly their executives around the world in private jets then give money to you.  Insurance companies will tell you that you aren’t hurt that bad.  They will suggest that you are faking it, or that you are exaggerating.   Make no mistake about it, when you make a claim with an insurance company, you are their adversary.

Yes, a lawyer gets a share, but you don’t have to pay anything until there is a settlement. We will take your case on a contingency fee basis, meaning we pay for everything up front, and then we get paid a percentage at the end out of the case. Insurance companies don’t like to part with money, but they will pay when they are faced with an air tight case presented by an experienced lawyer. Clients come to us because they are entitled to money, and that’s what we do. We get them that money.
